Seersucker

Seersucker fabrics

Do you know where the term seersucker comes from? In any case, we had to research it first and learned that the name for this beautiful fabric comes from Persian and stands for 'milk and sugar'. The feel of the fabric, which is soft but also quite robust and easy to care for due to its crumpled surface, reflects this quite well.

Seersucker - versatile, easy to process

  • Seersucker fabrics look beautiful and immediately catch the eye. Their crepe-like surface is created by the fact that the warp threads are tensioned differently during weaving.
  • Seersucker is a perfect summer fabric because it never lies directly on the skin. So there is always enough air to circulate. By the way, it is just as suitable for bed linen and also simply looks good!
  • Complex maintenance? You don't need it here! You can simply wash seersucker at 30 degrees and you don't have to iron the fabric either. If you want to de-crease it a little, just steam it briefly.
